Amidst the drizzle falling perhaps the middle to high draw may not be such an advantage because the stands side has been shunned all week and may not be quite so cut up come the start of the Stewards Cup, just another scenario on the weeks big handicap, amazing that of the nine horse’s in single figures eight are trained in the north, perhaps the guys will get their heads together and race in a group with Parisian Pyramid in one the speedster, I take Kaldoun Kingdom to land the spoils from stall four though am prepared to admit the stands side position may well turn out unfavourable.  Of the high drawn horses Noverre To Go would be my choice.the main attraction classwise is the Nassau, sure to be a true run event with Barshiba in the field, I adore Strawberrydaiquiri and expect the grey filly to relish the step up in trip.It doesn’t get any easier on the fifth and final day with a sixteen runner handicap to start the card, there looks to be plenty of front runners in the race so perhaps either Dromore or Kensei could pick up the pieces late on.

A disappointing turn out on Town Moor numerically, though the class act looks to be Arcano who runs in the condition stakes after a three month break since his Greenham seasonal debut, a fruitful autumn in prospect after a win today hopefully.Further north at Thirsk an eight race card consists of five tricky handicaps which have an impossible look to them, while Newmarket stage a similar card where Watch Amigo in the finale looks the best bet.
